Collaboration of Dr Forbes McGail from Western Health anaesthetics with Prof Jason Monty, Head of School, designed a personal ventilation hood for hospital beds to help contain the droplet spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in intensive care units (ICUs) which has now been approved by the TGA and licensed for manufacture.
